Our Voices of Hope (@OVOHope) is a metastatic breast cancer non-profit providing assistance for women living with Stage 4 breast cancer. On July 23, 2011, Sisarina hosted a fundraiser for this brand new organization and invited all the ladies in the area to come out in their best pink & enjoy some pink martinis at Relic in Bethesda.
With limoncello cosmos, regular cosmos and sangria, we enjoyed an evening of pink balloons, pink goodie bags and delicious food. Shirley Green was walking around with pink raffle tickets while her co-founder, Kristin Hinkle, was selling pink jewelry to raise money for their helpful non-profit.
Our sponsors (see below) were gracious enough to donate tons of gifts like cookies, pretzels, SkinSoSoft, discounts to local places, hand-made hand towels, and more. Raffle prizes included candy wrapper purses, bath salts gift basket and even t-shirts. Thanks to Noe Todorovich Photography for so many of the great pictures of the evening.
With over 60 women in attendance, we were able to raise $575 for Our Voices of Hope & get them launched. Keep an eye out for their upcoming Our Pink Carpet Events.
