When friends gather, great things happen. Sisarina hosted our 22nd DCTweetup at the recently completed HQ & invited the world to join us. A local entrepreneur (also good friend of Principal, Melanie Spring) launched her jewelry line in her gorgeous online store & we thought it would be insane to not let her show off her pieces in person.

On April 10, Heather Newman (@right2food) created a homemade delectable bite-sized feast & spread it in our conference room for our 70+ guests to enjoy. Not one person left without raving about how incredible it was. Muffins stuffed with duck, tiny cucumber slices with sausage and tomato preserves, loads of veggies, desserts in tiny portions, spring rolls with peanut sauce, deviled quail eggs and so much more. Guests brought wine to complement the incredible array of food.

Rakhi Gupta, Principal of Rakhi & Company (@rakhiandco), spread out her wares - earrings, bracelets, necklaces in gold and silver - while attendees went crazy and walked away with little purple boxes. Kerry Jo Richards (@kerryjor) brought a homemade cake of red velvet and butter cream that made everyone go 'mmmm.' Noe Todorovich (@noetodorovich) mingled with the guests while snapping photos of all the happenings of the evening.

Overall, the event was a HUGE success. Rakhi couldn't believe the warm welcome she received, Heather promised to cater all of our Tweetups when food was needed and Kerry Jo continues to make her highly recommended cakes. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this past Sunday the success that it was.
